Sunrise Sunset (manifesto)
Sunrise Sunset (manifesto) amalgamates particles of music, poetry and dance to imagine and affirm queer future as a “warmly illuminated horizon imbued with potentiality” (Muñoz, 2009). Tranquil music by Erik Satie coexists here with the poem Ode to Joy by Frank O’Hara and a reconstructed choreography Roller Skate by Fred Herko. The performance reveals itself as a soft and open-ended manifesto that ignites sensual companionship and radiant intimacy.
